UKirk@UVA
UKirk (University Church) is Westminster’s campus ministry for undergraduates at UVA—a community where faith, questions, and friendship meet. UKirk at UVA is part of a network of PC(USA) and ecumenical UKirk communities called UKirk National Collegiate Ministries.
The focus is on exploring God’s love and living it out in a complicated, beautiful world. People of all races, classes, abilities, genders, and sexual orientations are affirmed and celebrated. Rooted in the Christian tradition, UKirk also makes room for curiosity, doubts, and diverse perspectives.
Life together includes meals, study, service, worship, music, retreats, laughter, and honest conversation—a brave space for friendship, growth, and belonging.
UKirk is connected to Westminster Presbyterian Church (400 Rugby Road by Beta Bridge) and also gathers at Common Grounds (the white building at Gordon Ave. & Rugby Road). Students are welcome to join the full life of the church, from choir and theological discussions to retreats and service opportunities.
