Come to the first meeting of the Charlottesville Chapter of the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy on Tuesday, June 6 at 7:00 at First United Methodist Church (101 East Jefferson St., Charlottesville). The executive director, Kim Bobo, will share the vision of the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy and priorities for the rest of the year.
Since 1982, the Virginia Interfaith Center has engaged people of faith and goodwill in advocating for economic and racial just in the Commonwealth’s policies and practices. The Virginia Interfaith Center envisions a world where people of all faiths cooperate to create compassionate communities that are just, peaceful, equitable, and sustainable. To make this vision a reality, we create space for Virginians to manifest social justice for all by advocating for systemic change.
