Announcing The First Annual WPC Ping Pong Classic, April 14th 2-4 p.m. During coffee hour, after committee meetings, and at gatherings of Fellowship on Tap this year, I have discovered that several people at Westminster share something in common: they love to play ping pong. So, Will Hochstetler and I are creating an intergenerational ping pong event we’re calling, “The First Annual WPC Ping Pong Classic” to be held on April 14th from 2:00-4:00 p.m. in the WPC fellowship hall.
Besides being an opportunity for fellowship and fun, this table tennis event will essentially be a doubles tournament with participants rotating through six tables. And yes, we have a special WPC trophy to hand to the grand slammer. Sound like fun? Of course, this also means we will be searching for five pong tables that people are willing to share with us. If you have a table and paddles you are willing to loan for this event, please contact Ken or Will and we will make arrangements for a pick up time. All ages and skill levels are welcome! And if you simply want to be a spectator, that’s okay, too. Come for a time of food, fellowship, and amazing spin shots.
