This week, as celebrate Palm Sunday, we enter into Holy Week, with opportunities for worship on Maundy Thursday, March 29 as we gather for a light meal at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall followed by communion and a dramatic retelling of the Last Supper. On Good Friday, March 30, we gather in the Sanctuary at 6 p.m. for a Tenebrae service of music and Scripture. Then on Easter morning, April 1, we worship at both 8:30 and 11:00 with full choirs, celebrating communion at the early service and renewal of baptism at 11:00 a.m. Between the services, we gather as a community for our Rise and Shine Easter event with fellowship, singing and flowering the cross.
Text: Psalm 27:1-6
- Read the words of assurance in Psalm 27. Hoes does the message fit with your experiences in times of crisis?
- What do you think might have sustained Jesus during the week leading to his arrest and execution? Would he have found the words of Psalm 27 helpful?
- What Psalm most inspires you to move forward?
Thanks to Rozanne Oliver for her work in writing the questions throughout this Lenten season.
