Opening Doors to Worship
Every Sunday in Room 208

This inclusive class focuses on singing, a Scripture lesson, sharing joys and concerns, and a light meal. In the winter/spring session the lessons will continue to center around “God, the Holy Spirit.” This is the final study in a three-part series on the Trinity in Faith Alive’s Friendship Bible Studies: God, the Father; God, the Son; and God, the Holy Spirit. Opening Doors strives to be especially hospitable to those who are physically and mentally challenged but is also a rewarding and meaningful faith experience for others of the congregation. Team members are Forrest and Joyce Kerns (team coordinator), Cheryl Oliver, David Strider, and Leanna Whitmore. In addition to the Sunday-morning class and attending worship together, the group meets occasionally for out-of-class activities.
