Opening Doors to Worship Every Sunday in Room 208
This inclusive class focuses on singing, a Scripture lesson, sharing joys and concern+s, and a light meal. In the fall session the lessons will continue to center around “God, the Creator,” finishing the final unit of a three-part series on the Trinity in Faith Alive's Friendship Bible Studies. At the completion of the stories from the Old Testament, the class will move to the second study in the New Testament. Opening Doors strives to be especially hospitable to those who are physically and mentally challenged, but is also a rewarding and meaningful faith experience for the leaders. Other members of the congregation are welcome to join the class on a regular or occasional basis. In addition to the Sunday morning class, the group attends worship tobether each week.
Team Leaders: Peter Gates, Forrest and Joyce Kerns (team coordinator), Cheryl Oliver, David Strider, and Leanna Whitmore.
