In summer 2007, a group of adults and students from high school and college from area congregations went to Reynosa, Mexico to build a small, but sturdy concrete house for a Mexican family. District One
sponsors this mission trip by purchasing supplies and coordinating volunteers to attend. District One partners with Ministerio de Fe/Faith Ministries in McAllen, TX which builds about 100 homes per year for extremely impoverished Mexican families. Faith Ministries
works with many churches throughout the US to build these homes.
