Mobilizing God's People to Joyfully Serve Him

I Peter 4:10-11

Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

Christian Education

Welcome to Christian Education

The goal of Christian education at Westminster is to help each person develop a mature faith and participate in the life of the Christian community and its mission in the world. Through Church School classes, special programs, intergenerational events, and discussion groups, Westminster provides opportunities for people of all ages to nurture their faith.

From September through May, Church School is held for all ages on Sundays, from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. We use the "Wee Believe" curriculum for 3 year-olds through Kindergarten, published by the Presbyterian Church (USA).  Elementary school children through "Tweens" (early Middle School) will be using the new "Feasting on the Word" curriculum this year, published by John Knox Press.  Our youth are part of the "Journey to Adulthood" program; our adult education committee presents several different offerings each semester which appeal to a wide range of people.
