Westminster Presbyterian Church

On behalf of the Congregation of Westminster Presbyterian Church, the Session has approved the following statements of Mission, Values, Goals, and Objectives following a year of discernment and community reflection. 

The Mission and Values represent our understanding of the specific contribution Westminster is making to the Charlottesville community and the larger Church. 

Goals are statements of intent in support of the Mission, consistent with the statement of Values.  Goals reflect priorities established by Session and are revisited every three to five years as part of an ongoing planning cycle. 

Objectives are near-term activities undertaken to achieve the Goals, determined by Divisions of Westminster.  

 MISSION
Sustained by grace, we are called to serve Christ, share God’s love,
and work for justice in a complex world.

VALUES
So faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love
