Graduate Students and Young Adult Group
Presbyterian Young Adults (PYA) is expanding! We aim to be a welcoming Christian community among graduate students and young adults in which faith, fun, friendship, concerns, and joys can be shared. Please join us! Both singles and couples, those who did not grow up in the Church and those who did are all welcome. See below the photos for some of our activities.
PYA Monthly Dinners
Each month we gather in a member's home/apartment or at Common Grounds (the white house next to the church--on the corner of Rugby Road and Gordon Ave.) for a time of food, fun, and fellowship.
Sunday Lunches
Each Sunday during the academic year after the 11:00 worship service at Westminster, we gather for a delicious meal and informal conversation provided by members of the congregation. These lunches take place at Common Grounds.
Bible Study
We may start a Bible Study, contact Jake Harmon for more information (see below).
Service Projects and Mission Trips
A mission trip to Guatemala is set for January 2010. We also host occasional local service projects including monthly Habitat builds.
