Westminster is a welcoming and inclusive Christian faith community serving the University of Virginia and the greater Charlottesville and Albemarle areas. Westminster is a member congregation of The Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Presbytery of the James.

In celebration, reflection, reverence, and prayer, we offer ourselves to God and are strengthened for the coming week. We recognize that God transcends the limitations of our language, and our community is committed to inclusive language.

UKirk literally means “University Church.” We are a welcoming community for students that explores what it means to receive and share divine love, and to live out our faith in a complex world. People of all races, classes, abilities, genders, and sexual orientations are affirmed and celebrated. While we are centered in a Christian tradition, we welcome those who have questions, doubts, and diverse beliefs.
